Virgin Gorda – Paradise Bouldering from LT11
Today’s contribution is a bit lighter, but well worth the time. Bouldering in paradise, what a concept. Chilling in the Caribbean and climbing, not a bad way to go. The temps may never be optimal, but the quality of life must be high.
A year ago, Jon Glassberg and Rich Crowder traveled to the tropical paradise known as Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands to make a movie about bouldering and first ascents. With Amanda Berezowski, Taylor Fultz and Jon Wasser in tow, the team enjoyed the island life for over a week, developing new boulders and living the dream in the heart of the Caribbean. Establishing mostly first ascents on the main island and the offshore paradise known as “Fallen Jerusalem” the crew embraced the adventure and brought the Colorado first ascent mentality to the British Virgin Islands. Follow the team as they experience new boulder problems, devastating injury, beach life, and the local scene.
