This is a new route at Round Pond in Pawtuckaway, NH. Described as Project #1, Round Pond (right) in the Kemple guide, its located on the unnamed boulder just below and to the climber’s right of The Whip. The route was cleaned and worked over a couple previous sessions and sent by Ethan on Memorial Day 2012 . While its a short problem, it packs a lot of climbing with hard heel hooks, precise compression moves, sharp crimps, marginal slopers, toe hooks, a knee scum and even some bicycle footwork.

Ethan spotted this highball line late in August 2011. He worked it enough to get a sense that the line should go. After we rapped to clean and inspect the top section, a couple more sessions and 3 Guppies was in the bag.

This route may be an undocumented problem put up by Dave Graham and Luke Parady on the Hemlock Boulder years ago. Once lost to time and lichen, it is now cleaned off and ready for some attention.
